IBT Media, a digital media company operating out of New York City, is hiring a Director of Product Management to join our development team. As Director of Product Management, you will have opportunity to work across a portfolio of digital media brands.
Job Description:
As a Director of Product Management, you will drive the development and enhancement of all our digital products and platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, SEO, audience development and content, to deliver exceptional user experiences, that drive audience and generate revenue for the company.
Your strategic mindset and strong leadership and analytical skills will help shape product roadmaps, define feature requirements, and prioritize initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of prominent consumer media brands.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 or more years as a Product Manager for a consumer media site, with a track record of creating successful products that serve a business and engage an audience.
- Engineering degree preferred.
- Passion to make information more useful and engaging.
- Good knowledge of User Experience (UX).
- Experience working directly with developers to reach product objectives, using Asana (or similar).
- Experience using data (Google Analytics or similar) to make product decisions.
- Ability to find scalable solutions that serve the needs of millions of users.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who can lead a project, collaborating with others as well as working independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- New York, NY 10004: Relocate before starting work (Required)
